Rosemary

Rosemary is a visually impaired woman from the Traveller and Roma communities who is living homeless in Dublin. She takes no support from the government, living by selling 'The Big Issue' magazine and busking. She is a survivor but she dreams of one day having her own home where she can grow vegetables, keep pets, and have a safe place to call her own.

Dorothy Cruickshank is secretly in love with Captain Westwood, whom her parents have never seen, and they plan to elope. Her father, an old sea captain, has quarreled with a Professor Jogram, following a public denunciation of a book Jogram has written on navigation.

After experiencing a traumatic event, a woman retreats to a cabin in the mountains that becomes a psychological prison as she’s haunted by her memories every time she closes her eyes.
